In addition to the health and development projects in rural communities, Shanti Nepal has a small program entitled the ‘Social Welfare Program’ through which we provide physical, psychological and spiritual support for the poor’s immediate needs. We have organized a small fund generated through donations and Churches contributions to sponsor the activities as follows:

       [1] School scholarship: to cover the basic educational expenses of poor students
       [2] Charity Support: to provide finance for medical treatment
       [3] Disaster Relief: to provide immediate relief for disaster victims

    The program is governed by a functional sub-committee of Shanti Nepal under the executive committee and is implemented within the project areas with the cooperation of the projects.
